Today's card features a new mechanic called Unaligned. Unaligned spells may only be cast with colorless mana. See if you can come up with any good designs for this mechanic!
Split the Difference 5 Sorcery Unaligned Draws X cards, where X is the number of basic land types you control. Then destroy X target creatures, deal X damage to target player, return X target non-creature cards from your graveyard to your hand and exile X target artifacts or enchantments. Remove ~this card~ from the game.
For the 3rd ability, you don't need to qualify X. When a card references a variable value, if that value was already defined by an effect or a cost, it doesn't need to be defined again. ie: http://magiccards.info/sh/en/134.html

Ooh! That's a tricky one. Cause you'd need to play with basics and have extra colorless mana floating around. I like!
ReplyDeleteShawn: there's already a keyword mechanic for the basic land-type effect you described called "Domain."
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of an Unaligned mechanic. Maybe a graphical representation in the mana cost instead of a keyword, though.
This card itself is pretty cool, too. It has a lot of utility if you have the means to play it.
