Interacts well with the basic supertype! If basic ever appears on a nonland card in a set, it'd be best to have a new keyword that does something to interact with it, like maximize is doing here.
If I understand correctly, the Basic super-type overrides the 4-card limit, then Maximize allows you to 'dump' as many of the Basic super-type as you have in your library into play? Except for a board wipe in response, that seems a but overpowered, but a heck of a lot of fun!
Absolute worst case scenario? Opponent gets swung on for 84 damage on turn 10. (Provided my mental calculation is correct) Granted, that's a pretty deep game; however, this is Magic the Gathering, not Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume You don't get bonuses for overkill.

ReplyDeleteNormally I include the reminder text: (Basic cards aren’t bound by the four card maximum rule.)
Delete*bit overpowered.... sigh.
ReplyDeleteOverpowered? Since when is a 9 mana win condition that takes a turn to sent up over powered? or a 2/2 for 3?
