I thought that I might do some double color hosers this week. The term color hoser, for those who don't know, is used for a card that intentionally works much better against a certain color or colors. This one, for example, is much better against red and/or black.
This is awkward. White doesn't get sack effects, even for hate cards. That aside, I feel to be effective, it should be reversed. Black can be aggro, but tends to be more controlly these days (other than zombies and they still need to consistently hit 3 mana), where red is extremely aggressive and easily runs on 1-2 mana. Thematically, I think it's also easier to clear swamp, than it is to level a mountain >.>;;
ReplyDeleteI wanted this card to feel like Balance, but on a smaller scale. It's hard to use it if you're playing WR or WB. I do agree with your other point. New version is posted.
