As you may know, I am a big fan of alternate win conditions. The flavor of Domination Plans is an evil wizard gloating about his plans and heroes rallying to thwart them. Hope you like it.
EDIT: Here's a less exploitable version.
Edit (again):
OK, OK, I try one more time.
Yeah, seems kind of broken with anything that gives it Flash.
ReplyDeleteOr, more reasons Academy Rector is broken.
Yes! Flash and Academy Rector can be a problem... How do we fix it?
DeleteGive it the Phage text (plus a modification)!
ReplyDelete"When CARDNAME enters the battlefield, if you didn't cast it from your hand during your main phase, you lose the game."
Neither Flash or Rector should be reasons to make a card a lot more complex designwise... The nerfed version is so innelegant :(
ReplyDeleteI agree with this. I will try one more time.
DeleteI think it should have a higher CMC and more colored mana requirements.
ReplyDeleteI think it should be "if you cast CARDNAME during your last turn" instead of "on". I would also make both triggers "enters the battlefield" triggers instead of "cast" triggers. It would still force you to put it on to the battlefield during your turn but would allow for more interaction with the card (both for good and for ill [Stifle anyone?]).
ReplyDeleteI wanted to make the first one cast so the opponent has a chance to counter it if they're playing counterspells.
