Card of the Day - Unearthed Bauble
Someone else just made Snowfall! I don't know if it was independent or borrowed, but I love the mechanic. There is a Reddit post where I found it here.

Card of the Day - Crippling Anxiety
Sometimes, you come to a realization that you don't have the motivation to be the best you can. You drift through life hoping that things will work out.
You're almost 40 and you haven't reached your life's goal. You're too afraid to do what you want because you have to sacrifice a lot to do it. There are people counting on you to stay exactly where you are.
How many times will you sacrifice the creature this becomes attached to before sacrificing anything else? My guess is over 90%, but I may be wrong.

Card of the Day - Hellevator
So there's this show on Netflix called Hellevator. It's a horror themed game show and it's been running non-stop in my apartment for the last few hours. Then this happened. What have I done?

Card of the Day - Ronald Snakeman
If a character has a proper name, it's Legendary. Ronald's last name is Snakeman, therefore, he is a legend.

Card of the Day - Undercity Experimenter
I wanted some other colors to play with wither in Hellfire. Blue's single wither card is very strong.

Card of the Day - Desperate Recruiter
I designed this guy a little while back, and I can't help but be reminded of Hanweir Garrison from Eldritch Moon. The Garrison is better, but this is a good card, nonetheless.

Card of the Day - Reforestation
Here's a card that's been in my Frostmere file for most of it's life. It is intended to be a plant for Hellfire, a set in which the devils like to sacrifice land to do some crazy stuff. I looked at some Eldritch Moon spoilers and found that wizards made this card too. So there's that.

Card of the Day - Burned Field
Here is one of the four uncommon dual lands from Hellfire. Each of them enters the battlefield tapped unless you control a basic Mountain. I got the inspiration for the Burned lands from the Tainted lands of Torment. As the cards come out, you will notice a lot is borrowed from that set in particular.

Card of the Day - Crazed Wendigo
I want to tell you why I love Wendigos so much, but it's a major spoiler for the thing that caused me to love them. Anyway, they like the cold and eating people.

Card of the Day - Chilltouch Dead
I like simple french vanilla creatures sometimes. I kind of want to make him a skeleton, but the picture is clearly a zombie.

Card of the Day - Grinning Mangler
This is why Lava Pit exists. Pain is the Devil mechanic in Hellfire.
It is an Ability Word, which means it has no special meaning, but it links cards of similar functionality together. Landfall is an example of another ability word.
There are some crazy strong devils that just showed up on Frostmere, and they really like it when you hurt yourself.

Card of the Day - Lava Pit
It may seem as if you wouldn't want to deal damage to yourself, but you haven't seen Hellfire yet. It will all make sense tomorrow.

Card of the Day - Lurking Treehop
I like that the blue/green combo gets flash. This lil' guy makes blocking a lot easier for you when he jumps in.

Card of the Day - Kargaale Ooze
There was a Facebook post a few days ago asking what creature would show off my play style. The card I made on the spot was a 0/1 for G with hexproof that got the counter each turn. I tweaked it a little bit so it's not quite as annoying, but still powerful.

Card of the Day - Saltsea Shore
There have been a lot of drawbacks attached to the rare dual land cycle of each set. This drawback gets more harsh depending on where you play it.
In a casual setting, a lot of folks won't even remember what you've shown, but if you're playing a big tournament, you can be sure that your opponent will get out her notebook to jot down exactly what you have.

Card of the Day - Timid Pronghorn
It's been a while since I've posted. Life has been a little rough these past few weeks, but I'm sticking my head up over the wall into real life again.
I wanted to make a card that was a powerful creature with a glaring weakness. If you can get through the opponent's defenses, you've got a nice bit of damage each turn with ol' Elmer here.
Most likely a candidate for a white/red "you can't block me" archetype in limited, but with limited usefulness elsewhere.
I'll be making a backlog of cards so I won't miss any days for a while. Sorry I've been remiss in my posting; like I said, I've been having a rough go of it lately.

Card of the Day - Great Snowy Owl
A lot of recent sets have had an uncommon cycle of multicolored cards, to kind of let you know how to draft that color pair. This is Frostmere's U/W entry.

Card of the Day - Vadel, Servant of Ulamog
The last of our ragtag group was Vadel, a warlock who worshiped a god that none of our characters had ever heard of.

Card of the Day - Selphi, Bahamut's Heir
Selphi hasn't died yet, but he keeps saying that he's actually a dragon, and we're all pretty sure he'll become an awesome dragon if he does die.

Card of the Day - Auriel Brightmantle/Hazirawn, the Thirsty Blade
This is my character in our DnD campaign. He died this week fighting a green dragon. Here's his badass sword too.

Card of the Day - Shaena Greenbottle
This is the first in a series of cards based on the D&D campaign my wife DMs.
This is our bard, Shaena. She's a little person.

Card of the Day - Harness the AEther
I've decided to start drawing my own artwork for these cards because I saw someone else do it on Reddit and I thought "Why the heck not?"
Enjoy

Card of the Day - Secret Assassin/Cloistered Sage/Hidden
I was inspired by the ladies on my favorite MTG podcast, Magic:the Amateuring, to fix the cards Camouflage and Illusionary Mask.
I think the best way to do it is to create a new mechanic that does what those cards are trying to do.
I present: Hidden.
A card with Hidden enters the battlefield hidden. While you cast it, you hide it from your opponent, and you place this reminder token on top of it.
If a Hidden creature attacks, blocks, takes damage, activates an ability, or becomes targeted, you immediately reveal it.
That's it.
It's important to remember that a hidden creature does NOT count as a face-down creature, even if it is turned face down so the opponent can't see it. Face-down creatures have very specific rules that affect them, and they don't affect hidden creatures.
Here are some examples of cards that would have Hidden:
See if you guys can come up with some other cool things that can use Hidden well.
*Post edited to fix wording and add clarification.
