Card of the Day - Swallowed by Earth

Red doesn't usually get targeted creature removal, but I feel like this is on target for red.  Side note: The original text on this was "Destroy target nonflying creature,"  but I'm pretty sure that's not a thing.  Let me know if I'm wrong on this one.
