Card of the Day - Adapting Ooze

I wanted the Ooze to be bigger than whatever it kills.  Giving him 3 +1/+1 counters to start with is a simple way to get the effect.  Should he be a 3/3 with one counter, or a 2/2 with two?  Let me know what you think.
