Card of the Day - Instant Army
Weeeeeee!
Edit: I just got the update for the M15 card frames, so here's Instant Army in the new frame, as well.
2nd Edit(!): Made it an Instant, and changed the Goblin part of the card to make two tokens instead of giving them haste. 9 Power of creatures for 5 mana! INSANE!

Card of the Day - Powergrab
After making this card, I realized how strong it is against Sphinx's Revelation. A lot of the time this card reads: :Target opponent skips his or her next draw phase. Draw a card."

Card of the Day - AEther Snare
Every once in a while, I roll dice to choose a card type, mana cost, color, and rarity. It's not easy designing a UU rare blue sorcery. I challenge each of my readers to post a card that fits those criteria. You can post your submission in the comments.

Card of the Day - Faceless Saboteur
So I went to Magic Game Day today and got myself a playset of the full art Squelching Leeches. I realized while brushing my teeth that the Leeches are a lesser version of a card from Future Sight, Korlash, Heir to Blackblade. Presenting Faceless Saboteur:
This card uses the same basic concept, but in reverse. I chose a card that already exists and made a Grandeur creature with the same stats and ability, and changed the flavor. Bonus points if you can name the original card without looking it up. Also, if you don;t remember Espionage, here's the rules text for it: (Whenever this card would deal damage to a player, that player puts twice that many cards from the top of his or her library into his or her graveyard instead.)

Card of the Day - Searing Jolt
Here's another take on Maximize. This time, you can choose to get a single extra copy each time you cast it. Fun!

Card of the Day - Seasoned Scalawag
This card is from the Red/Blue/Green plane, where storms rage constantly and volcanoes, at seemingly random intervals, erupt on verdant islands of the vast sea.

Card of the Day - Coordinated Leap
This would be a very limited card; only useful if you're playing with frogs... if it didn't have that nifty transmute ability on it. I have a feeling this card is going to be used to transmute 90% of the time, but the other 10% will be amazing.

Card of the Day - Amphibious Stalker
I really wanted to make this cost GG, but in the context of a set full of three-color planes, it seemed like a bad idea. Anyway, this lil' guy lives on the plane of Deepmire. The brackish waters of this Blue, Black, and Green plane churn under a dense green canopy, and within live a tribe of frogmen. Some of those frogmen are sneaky.

Card of the Day - Something in the Attic
The flavor of Roggara really shines through in Something in the Attic. Creepy and looming. I dig it.
