We all know how dangerous quick mana sources can be. This card helps alleviate the extra burst by lowering the total production in the future. I thought it was a fitting drawback. Would it be more balanced if you had to sac an untapped mountain? Let me know what you think.
I think it would have to be untapped. Otherwise you just use 2-3 of these in one turn and possible combo off. Also stops a t1 3 drop coming down.
