If you don't use first strike for white it is fine, but you could go with "can only be block by two or more creatures." The Grandeur ability seem way to powerful. You should choose creature or player. I think creature would fit the flavor better as it would make the creature harder to block, but would be very powerful. Maybe sorcery speed and 2 damage. If you have it only target players, 3 damage is fine.
I don't believe the grandeur ability is too powerful, and I'll explain why: To use it effectively, you have to have two copies of this card; one on the battlefield, and one in your hand. The static ability of this card isn't very exciting, and you need to have at least two in your library to even think of discarding for fun and profit. It can be tough to cast a free spell if you need to have another permanent in play with the same name.

ReplyDeleteTrue, it just feels very strong regardless of how often it happens. Powering it down abit could add some flavor.
